Jess, I am so sorry to read of the loss of your husband. I just know that God is going to use your testimony of His faithfulness during this time to further His Kingdom. Your husband passed away on the ninth anniversary of my oldest son's death. As you know and are living out on your blog, it seems His peace, strength, and yes, even joy, are given in a double portion during times of suffering. I praise Him for your willingness to share your journey ... all to bring Him glory!Praying for you ... have a blessed WFW!
Praise seems to be a focus today, and HE IS WORTHY OF IT! And I like the pic ... it reminds of the vast awesomeness of our God!
Beautiful! Have a blessed WFW!
Jess....My prayers are with you as you move through the desert into the land of milk and honey...The valley is a trying place, may the prayers of those you've never met sustain you...We lived in York, PA for awhile..my hubs was on a jobstie there years ago! Your image is gorgeous. The WORD is true and your faith is astounding!peace on the journey, lori
What a lovely photo and such inspirational Bible verses. As a widow of ten years, I know how hard the path is right now, but you are on the right track focusing on God and His Word. I used to play Praise and Worship music constantly as well - it was like bathing my mind with His Word, so even if I couldn't focus on it, it kept me thinking more of praising God then dwelling on other issues. And God, Who is faithful, held me tight and I'm praying He will continue to hold you tight in His arms. Have a blessed week!
Praise Him always.
Oh my what a coincidence. This verse was a part of my scripture reading today. How neat that everything He created is made to praise Him in it's own unique way.
How sad to go through a storm and not see the One who can control the storm, but above all be present with us in the storm.
